How we use cookies

This website uses cookies for collecting non-personal user information from the site. It does not collect any information about you except that required for system administration of the website. By using our website, you agree that we can place these types of cookies on your device.

Our cookies aren’t used to identify you personally. They’re just here to make the site work better for you by:

  • Enabling a service to recognise your device so you don’t have to give the same information several times during one task.
  • Recognising that you may already have given a username and password so you don’t need to do it for every web page requested.
  • Measuring how many people are using our services, so they can be made easier to use and there’s enough capacity to ensure they are fast.

You can manage and delete these files as you wish. To learn more about cookies and how to manage them visit aboutcookies.org.

We don’t use cookies on this website that collect information about what other websites you visit – these are often referred to as ‘privacy intrusive cookies’.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect statistics on how people use this site. We do this to make sure the site meets peoples’ needs and to understand how we can make it work more efficiently.

Google Analytics sets cookies to help us accurately estimate the number of visitors to the website and the volumes of usage. This ensures that online services are available when you want them and that they are fast.

Cookies on our website from third parties

During your visit to the site you may notice some cookies that are not related to us. This happens when you visit a page with content embedded from a third party, for example YouTube videos. These websites may place cookies on your computer.

How secure is information about me?

Whilst we make every effort to keep the information that you supply secure, please be aware that the internet is not a fully secure medium. We use secure servers for sensitive information such as credit card numbers and personal information.

Our secure-server software uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates to encrypt all your personal information including credit or debit card numbers, name and address so that no one else can read your information. The encryption process takes the characters you enter and converts them into bits of code that are then securely transmitted over the internet. Our 3rd party payment processor may transmit your entire card number to the appropriate credit card issuer during payment processing, but this is encrypted and cannot be read or used by any other party.

We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection, storage and disclosure of personally identifiable customer information. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we disclose personal information to you.

It is important that you to protect against unauthorised access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when you finish using a shared computer.
